Along similar lines, what citations would be expected for a marriage certificate and a death certificate?

The 'How To' on entering a birth certificate as a source is very helpful but a bit unrealistic. I purchase a birth certificate because I already have some information about an ancestor and possibly their parents, but it is incomplete. I am migrating from Family Tree Maker to Family Historian 3.0.  In attempting to work around limitations of FTM I have created a number of custom facts, which unfortunately show up in the exported GEDCOM file.  I would really like to get rid of them completely.
