V6 links to web sites
Will there be links to other genealogical websites (i.e. ones that I actually use)? There's something rather irritating about the first experience of a new piece of software being the announcement that to get th most out of it you have to pay £60 a year to a website you've never heard of before - es...

FH 5
I'm wondering whether it's time to make the break. Upgrading from scratch to Version 5 would mean having to mount four disks in succession to go from Version 2 to 5, with three different upgrade codes in succession. Given that I've so far failed to get Version 4 to install on my new laptop using the...

Vista 32 so that isn't it. When I specify PDF I get two boxes, one the FH 'Save PDF as' box and another little one which says that it is printing 'David's genealogy.ged' (not the report file name) on the FH PDF file at LPT3. Hmmm. Now I notice that the files are actually queued up for a non-existent...

Empty PDF
When I save a narrative report such 'ancestors by generation' to PDF I get a zero-byte file. RTF, HTML and text all work normally.

Splitting a tree
Is there a simple way to separate out a section of my tree?
I would like to supply someone with a gedcom consisting of the descendants of one individual, without having manually to delete everything else.

Genes reunited upload problems
Thank you SO much for the advice in this thread. I have spent the last few days becoming more and more irritated with GR for their failure to indicate what the errors were that prevented my file from uploading or to respond to emails asking for advice. I did get one reply, telling me that no-one els...
