Yes i did save after every birth entered and reopened the fh file to check.
Will re enter agian and note exactly how done.

I have version 4 of FH.
I seem a bit confused in trying to download and install the above and its plug ins.
is there a simple format to follow or am I behind in understanding how to?

The national; archives website (Documentsonline) have available various reports from various workhouse districts which may help. These are downloadable for FREE.
It is worth checking under area and names.

Have done this as well but to no avial.
Have checked the version and its version 4 on the netbook and version 4.1 on the laptop. So i am unsure if this is an issue and has it happened elsewhere??

acer netbook 160gb drive with 512mb ddr2memory  Originally with linux but have reformated(NTFS) and placed xp on it. Have formatted drive to two partitions and reinstalled the software and agaian all goes well untill i try to install version 4. I recieve the same message. Any Ideas anyone????

Thanks Jane have set the drive as 1 rather than normal partition. Will try and reformat again with partition and try again.
