Re: Rich text editor - keyboard shortcuts?
I don't think there is a shortcut for that, one possible work around is to write a plugin which creates the rich text directly prompting for each field from ORA. You can add the plugin to the menu to make it easy to call.

One thing to try is going into diagram options and force a redraw by changing the number of generations, does that resolve your issue?

Re: Is there a 'Dead Flag'?
You can add a "blank" Death Fact which will enough to show they are dead. Reports will show "He died" My own policy for Online sites is to completely remove all living people before uploading, anywhere but my own site. As always the Knowledge base has extensive notes on this and other options. https...

Re: How to export a subset
Another option is to create a custom query, so you add all Descendants of the root person, then add the spouses of any one in the result set, then add ancestors of anyone in the result set for 2 generations, and add descendants for 2 generations. Then you can use your query for the export or use it ...

The help for the function does detail the 4 parameters. The 1st and 2nd parameters will default to the current record when using a query so %INDI% and the example for using relationship does show all 4 parameters in use. Re: This week's active discussion topics in the FHUG Forums email
If it happens every week, check they are coming to the same address, I know a few people may have two accounts. It does occasionally glitch, but it seems to be an issue on the Amazon end so I am not able to tell why.

Re: Chart Everyone -a layout question
Family Historian displays in the order the people are in the file. Imported gedcoms are often in the incorrect order, to sort them select Tools>Reorder out of sequence data from the menu. The everyone diagram will normally use an all relatives diagram based on the selected root and then add addition...

If you use the online version of the help and go to the all functions page https://www.family-historian.co.uk/help/fh7/hh_goto.htm?hh_start.htm#function_all.html You can easily use CTRL-F to search for useful words. Also the online help search tends to be more helpful that the Microsoft search built...

Family Historian provides a selection of Facts.
YOU need to create any other non standard facts such as Travel, by creating a custom fact.

What I normally do is to simply add a header for each page, just to show the page breaks. something like
<original page 1 end>
or just <page 1>

I doubt page break is supported, as in FH terms it does not really make sense. Why were you trying to include one?

I know My History have printed 12m and longer diagrams, I suspect it is not done as a single image, but rather as "strips", but I have not played with printer driver code.

Re: Length of Printout
If you are purchasing hardware then there is no limit within Family Historian, the PDF limit does not apply. So when you print direct the length is related to the length of the roll used.
Most paper rolls are around 50m so I suspect that is probably the maximum.

This happens occasionally, I am not sure if it is a Amazon thing, as I can't see any errors on our server and the logs look fine, eg people are not listed twice. I use Amazon to send them as our TOS for the web server frowns on sending bulk emails.

It sounds like a session change (perhaps an IP Nat session update). Do you normally use the "keep me logged in" if not that may be worth a try as cookies normally survive session changes.
