Just in case someone else tries this, I used the Export Gedcom Plugin to make a file for Mac Family Tree. It (so far) seems to have worked, but I did need to tweak the format option to make the Places get the geocoding information — the choice (which I concluded from the help file / other posts here) was to use Gedcom 5.5.1 format.
Hope this might help somebody one day!

Tony, what Basic Options tab settings worked best?
If we can agree on a working set of options, I can add (MAC) Mac Family Tree to GEDCOM Destination options.

I didn't do a lot of tweaking as all I wanted was the geocoding. I just use the iPad version when I go to a records office. This is how I have it set:

I notice that you did alter the Rich Text Formatting to use HTML 5 format.
Was that deliberate and did it give the best rendering of Rich Text Notes compared to the other options?
You also ticked Use the JPG file format for all images. Was that necessary to get all images displayed?

As I said, all I was trying to do was get the geocoordinates working, no idea why the other values are as they are. Sorry to be of no further use;-)tatewise wrote: ↑09 Mar 2024 10:22 I notice that you did alter the Rich Text Formatting to use HTML 5 format.
